When I bought the Acer 311 C722 Chromebook I was well aware that I was buying a budget laptop.

However, I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality, and the military grade body meant it could take a drop from a few feet without being damaged.

It’s fair to say the display was not the best as it was TFT, which is nowhere near as good as an IPS panel. That being said, it did mean it was much easier to read the display when directly exposed to the sun.
