How to add extra RAM to your Chromebook using Virtual RAM
In the early days the Chromebook was known for having much less RAM than a traditional computer. This was mainly due to ChromeOS being a lightweight operating system that can perform perfectly well without having access to a lot of RAM.
Over the years at ChromeOS has developed you can do a lot more on your Chromebook. This includes using Android and Linux Apps, which are known for needing more RAM.
ChromeOS manages your virtual RAM for you, so you don’t really need to change anything. However, if you like tinkering around with your computer, you can manage the virtual RAM, and this video will show you how to do this.
