In the last quarter of 2020 HP sold more Chromebooks than any other manufacturer. Hardly surprising when you consider how good HP laptops are. When the HP x 360 launched a couple of years ago it was considered at the time as being one of the best Chromebooks you could buy. It’s still a great Chromebook today, but a lot of new devices have been launched since then. That being said, if you can pick this Chromebook up at a bargain price, then it’s still a great buy.
It’s important to remember manufacturers always confuse us when it comes to naming Chromebooks. This is especially an issue if they release another model to replace the existing one. This page is for any HP x 360 Chromebook model starting da0 and ends with na.
THE SPECS
The HP x 360 Chromebook is available in different specifications. It will depend on where you live as to the type of configuration you’ll find available. The most common configurations are an Intel Pentium and an Intel i3. There may be other models available with different processors, which are not listed here.
INTEL PENTIUM CONFIGURATION
The Intel Pentium processor isn’t something you see too often on a Chromebook. However, they were more common a couple of years ago, which is when this Chromebook was originally launched. It has a clock speed of 2.3 GHz and comes with 4GB of RAM. The storage on the basic model at 32GB may be considered a little low for what you’d use a Chromebook for now. However, at the time of launch, this was pretty standard for a medium-spec Chrome OS device.
INTEL i3 CONFIGURATION
The Intel i3 model at the time of launch was considered cutting-edge. Apart from more expensive Chromebooks such as the Pixelbook. You would not find many Chromebooks with a processor higher than an Intel i3. This model provides 8GB of RAM, which is perfect for the processor, and it means this laptop performs excellently. Double the amount of storage at 64GB was a huge amount back in 2019, and is still an acceptable amount of storage in 2021.
Model | Processor | RAM | Storage |
---|---|---|---|
Intel Pentium | Intel Pentium | 4GB | 32GB (eMMC) |
Intel i3 | Intel i3 | 8GB | 64GB (eMMC) |
