Nearly everyone in the world today owns a mobile phone. How many times have you test driven your network provider before committing to a lengthy contract?
Generally speaking, most of us sign a contract with a network provider without checking whether they can offer what we need. First of all, you’ve got customer service to consider, which is obviously important. What is more important though is whether the network delivers.

Being able to make and receive calls whilst at home is important. If you’ve ever experienced poor call quality in your home. You’ll already know how frustrating this can be.
So checking whether calls can be received and made at home is the first test you should do. If you experience problems then you should definitely consider whether the network provider is the right choice. You’ll regret it at a later date if you choose to ignore this.
CALL QUALITY AT WORK
Most of us spend a lot of our day away from home. If you work in an office and need access to your phone. Then it’s good to check whether you can make and receive calls from work.
We can, of course, move to a new employer over the term of the contract. This is also true for where you live. However, it’s still good to check for your current situation. Especially if being able to make and receive calls at work is important.
For example, you could have children at school. So you’d like to know they can easily contact you if necessary or maybe you’ve got a relative who you need to keep in contact with whilst at work.

When it comes to your data connection. You really want to be in a situation where you get a decent connection whether at home, work or out and about. So this is something you’ll need to test over a few weeks.
If you’ve got a 4G phone then you’ll want to check to ensure your phone is mostly connected to 4G. If you see your phone regularly loses its 4G connection. Then this is something you’ll need to consider.
It’s unlikely you’ll ever get a perfect network. You may get great calls at work but no so good when at home. This is the same as your connection to the internet.
What’s important is to make sure the network provides you with what you need the most. By using a 30-day sim before committing to a lengthy contract. Puts you in control. It allows you to test out the different networks first.
