Asus C433 Chromebook deal – Reduced by £100 at Currys PC World

The Asus C433 Chromebook is one of those laptops I love. It’s got everything you need from a Chromebook device in 2020. It’s well built and comes with just the right amount of performance needed for Chrome OS.

We’ve seen a lot of high-spec Chromebook devices being released recently. Some of us love these, but I’m still a little unsure whether such high-spec laptops are needed for Chrome OS at the moment.

So if you’re after a great Chromebook at a good price a mid-range laptop is the best choice right now. The Asus C433 fits nicely into the mid-range, and the good news is, it’s got a little cheaper.

At the moment it’s currently available from Curry’s PC World in the UK with £100 off the normal retail price. This means you can currently get the laptop for just £399.00. This is a great offer when you consider the laptop was only released less than two years ago.

In the last couple of years, we’ve seen so many Chromebooks released. This is great for us Chrome OS fans because we’ve never had a wider range to choose from.

The Asus C433 sits comfortably in between the Asus C425 and Asus C434. What I love about the Asus C433 is the build quality. Yes, it’s plastic inside, which you don’t get with the Asus C434. However, the outer casing is aluminium.

The slab-like design works perfectly in tablet mode

What I love though is the slab-like look of this Chromebook. I much prefer a laptop with a solid slab design. What I mean by this is there are no curves. This not only makes it look minimalist and sexy. It’s much more practical when using it as a tablet.

If you’ve ever used a Chromebook with a curved design as a tablet. You’ll know it can look a little strange. Those curves create gaps in the body when using it as a tablet, and it looks strange. You don’t get this with the Asus C433, so it’s similar to the Asus C302 when using it as a tablet.

You get all the performance you need from the Asus C433. I mentioned earlier we are seeing more and more high-performing Chromebooks released in 2020. This is great for those who need it. However, for most of us, it’s overkill. Chrome OS works perfectly fine on a lower-performing processor.

The great thing about this is it means you don’t need to spend a lot of money to get a high performing Chrome OS laptop. The eight-generation M3 processor with 4MB of cache is more than enough to cope with any task you’ll want to carry out on your Chromebook.

Whether that is surfing the internet, streaming HD movies, word processing, spreadsheets or Android apps. You’ll find no problems with any of these tasks on the Asus C433.

The 4GB of RAM is more than enough for all of these tasks. So if you’re after a decent performing laptop at a great price. Then you should consider the offer currently available.

The display offers full HD at 1,920 by 1,080, which is just what you need on a 14-inch display. This will ensure the text and images are crisp and clear and are perfect for movie watching.

What I love about the display on Asus Chromebooks is the tiny bezels around the screen. This not only makes the laptop look great. It also means the overall size of the laptop is compact considering the 14-inch screen on offer.

You don’t need to worry about viewing angles either. As the Asus C433 comes with an IPS panel. There is nothing worse than a laptop with a poor display. Thankfully, you’ll not have to worry about this with the Asus C433, as the display is just perfect for the money.

Still unsure whether the Asus C433 is the Chromebook for you. Have a read of the full Asus C433 Chromebook review to find out more.
